Subscription terms & refunds

Plans and payment

StormTrak Plus is $4.99 USD per month. StormTrak Pro is $9.99 USD per month. Live Sweep is an optional $5.99/month add-on and 3D Volume is an optional $9.99/month add-on, available with either paid plan. 3D Studio is separate and is not included in these subscriptions.

Checkout shows your selected plan, add-ons, recurring total, and any applicable tax or discount before you subscribe. Stripe handles payment information. By confirming a paid subscription, you authorize the displayed initial payment and recurring monthly payments until cancellation takes effect.

Signing in or reserving a rate does not authorize a charge. Existing Early Access access continues; subscribing is optional and does not automatically enroll other Early Access users.

Changing a subscription

Upgrades and added features are prorated and invoiced immediately after you confirm the change. Credit balances or Stripe's handling of small amounts may mean there is no immediate card debit. Downgrades and removed add-ons take effect at the next renewal. A change that includes both applies its paid increases when payment succeeds and schedules its reductions for renewal. We show payment recovery or request a fresh quote if a change cannot be completed as confirmed.

Cancellation

Use Cancel subscription in your StormTrak account to stop renewal. Your subscription continues through the current paid billing period, and your account shows the confirmed end date. You can undo a scheduled cancellation before it takes effect. Cancellation does not remove your continuing Early Access access.

Refunds

Subscription payments are generally non-refundable, including unused time after cancellation. If an issue on StormTrak's side affected your subscription, contact scatrbrain@pm.me. We review those situations case by case. This policy does not limit refund rights required by applicable law.

Reserved Pro rate

An existing $9.99/month Pro reservation is used only after a verified successful live Pro subscription. It remains linked while that paid subscription continues, including through its scheduled paid end date. Once that subscription actually ends, a later subscription uses the price then offered. Test payments do not use a reservation.

Weather information

StormTrak is an experimental weather tool, not an emergency alert service. Storm projections assume unchanged motion and conditions can change quickly. Follow National Weather Service instructions and keep another way to receive warnings. An empty map or an off-path result does not establish that you are safe.
